My husband is in the Army and constantly struggles with athletes foot and blisters from hyper-hydrosis (extreme foot sweating). He sometimes gets blisters just from everyday walking around in his combat boots, and always gets blisters every time he runs in the mornings. Yesterday he trained on land-navigation over difficult terrain in the pouring rain. He came home soaking wet and excited about how these socks kept his feet warm in the wet morning and cool when the sun came out from behind the clouds. Most of all he was excited because he had no blisters!

I do a lot of camping in the winter with the Boy Scouts and found myself in need of some more wool socks. Wool is one of the best as when even wet it retains about 60 pecent of its warmth retaining qualitys. Anyhow, these sock are lite enough to wear with my boots, by that I mean they are not bulky as some others are. We camped out in Jan. and my feet were warm with only my winter boots and sock liners. They also fit very well, I have some that the heel of the sock was up around my ankles, not the case with these. I would recomend.

I have diabetes and need a snug fitting sock. I also have athlete’s foot. Merino wool breathes and wicks moisture away from the foot which is critical to cure athlete’s foot (along with fungal cream). My podiatrist likes this sock. My foot size is 13 wide and I wear an XL sock.

I bought a pair for the man and they are pimptastic for sure. However, we’ve had to return twice as they were too small – he’s a 10, which was too small and returned and then 11 bought, but they run tight. Don’t know whether to try one or two sizes larger now – or not again at all – as return postage is our expense each time, and has added another $10 to the cost of the sandals already.

The single velcro strap makes getting them on her a breeze. She likes wearing shoes so she doesn’t try to take them off. The toes have become slightly scuffed, but I’m hoping some white shoe polish with clean them up.

I was a little skeptical about spending so much on a shoe that she would probably grow out of in a month, but these shoes were definitely worth shelling out the extra cash so that she is comfortable. I did get a size bigger so that she’d be able to wear them for a least a little while. I looked all over the internet once I found the perfect shoe and Amazon was the cheapest.

My souls are in FLIP FLOP HEAVEN because these sandals are so comfortable. They do run a size small. I usually wear a size 9 but I ordered a size 10 and they fit perfectly. They shape to your foot as you wear them and I have walked miles in these.
